windbreaker paintings
these paintings are based on color block clothing from the 80's and 90's, sourced from my own personal collection as well as images on ebay and elsewhere on the internet. i love the simple geometry and bright colors featured in these clothes, and i'm also attracted by their nostalgic association with this period of style and culture. i worked on this series from fall 2014 to early 2017, and i may resume it again eventually.
